EMBROIDERY
Print designs onto Floriani® Template Tearaway™ stabilizer for placement templates.  Peel backing from tearaway and press printed template in place on linen using marked lines as a guide. Hoop Floriani® Wet N Gone Tacky™ water-soluble stabilizer with paper side up and peel away paper on inside of hoop to expose tacky surface. Place fabric and template on top of sticky stabilizer and align inside hoop. Remove tearaway template before you stitch embroidery. NOTE: Templates are reusable up to 50 times! Just place them on the backing for storage. Select basting option to secure linen to stabilizer.

1. Using your design software, combine four sets of Grapes & Vines Corners to form a square for center of table runner. Rotate square to form a diamond. Center a Grapes & Vines Large Spray inside this diamond. Mirror image the Grapes & Vines Border design to form a small square motif. Rotate square to form a diamond. Place three of these diamonds on horizontal centerline on each side of center design for a total of six diamonds.

2. For placemats, align four Grapes & Vines Spray designs centered on 1-1/2-inch drawn line at right side of each placemat.

3. Center a single Grapes & Vines Large Spray design on each 3- x 7-inch piece of fabric for napkin rings.

FRINGE and FINISHING
1. To complete runner, use twin hemstitch needle with gold in left needle and cottage beige in right needle; stitch along outside marked line. Remove linen fabric threads up to stitching to form fringe.

2. Repeat for placemats with a 1-inch fringe.

3. To construct napkin rings, press long edges under 1/4-inch on each side of embroidered strip and lining strip. Open folds to sew together ends of embroidered strip and ends of lining piece to form rings. Fold edge back inside ring and place lining ring inside embroidered ring and align folded edges on each side. Topstitch along folded edges with a reinforced straight stitch using gold thread. NOTE: The reinforced straight stitch lays a thicker stitch than a regular straight stitch; you may also substitute a decorative stitch. -SB
