Downloading Help

Note: Steps may vary depending on browser.
1. Click on the link of the embroidery format for your machine.
2. You should be prompted by your browser to either open the file from its current location or save to disk. Click save to disk.

NOTE:
If you are not prompted to save the file, try 'right' clicking on the file. (That is clicking the right mouse button instead of the left mouse button) This should cause a drop down menu to appear with the option to save.
3. Choose a directory in which to save the file.
4. If you saved the .exe file, you should be able to double-click and open the file. Otherwise, use either WinZip®, Stuffit®, PKZIP® or a similar program to unzip the .zip file.
About unzipping:
Although unzipping programs differ, during the unzipping process you should be asked where you want to save the unzipped file. If you save the file in the same place as the zipped file you will have two files with the same name, but different extensions.

For example:
If you download a zipped embroidery file of a flower in the .shv format, it will be displayed as flowershv.zip before it has been unzipped. After unzipping, both flowershv.zip and flowershv folder will be displayed. The flowershv folder contains the files that your embroidery software will recognize.
