The problem is with the measurements of the front pleated panel and the waistband; here are the corrected cutting and tie-off measurements:
* This measurement yields 4:1 pleating ratio, suitable for light to midweight fabrics. If you are using a heavier fabric, you may choose to reduce the ratio to 3:1. To reduce the ratio, multiply the tie-off width by 3 and cut the front skirt to that width.
The cutting size for the sashes was also omitted: All sashes are cut 4-1/2” wide across the 45” width of the fabric, as shown in the layout guide on the centerfold.
We sincerely regret these errors and the inconvenience our mistake has caused you. We also extend apologies to Kris Curtis, the designer of the garments. She did an excellent job; these errors are entirely ours and are in no way her fault.
