* Lace insertion yardage requirements will vary according size range. Determine measurements for a block of fabric that will accommodate one yoke overlay and two sleeves and mark 1- and 5/8-inch increments vertically. Count the 1-inch spaces and tally yardage for 1-inch insertion, likewise count and tally for the 5/8-inch lace. Add 3 yards of 1-inch lace and 6 yards of 5/8-inch lace to accommodate the fancy band hem.
